SERVICES

I am available as a consultant, facilitator, and coach. I offer complementary approaches including:

Contemplative Care

Immediate, empathetic support through contemplation (paying attention to intention) to promote healing as your experience of feeling whole. The process helps you to identify what you value and frame your difficulties in terms of such core human values as safety, dignity, and purpose. This provides an opportunity to experience life deeply and connect with what matters most.

Several methods of care facilitate this healing process:

     Clinical Chaplaincy Services
includes religious and/or secular expression, is non-proselytizing, and is a growing clinical method offered in many heathcare institutions. It integrates the meaning of transitions in terms of what you value. This process of making meaning as the experience and expression of your personal spirituality empowers you to make choices in all aspects of your life based on these values. It promotes emotional, psychological, and spiritual well being. I am a Board-Certified, clinical Chaplain (BCC) affiliated with the Association of Professional Chaplains.

      Attuned Breath Centering
developed by Judy Seicho Fleischman, Attuned Breath Centering (ABC) is a meditative practice of paying attention to intention in the present moment as you simultaneously anchor in breath awareness. It can be helpful as an intervention when anxiety and other challenging emotions arise. It also can be an ongoing healing practice. This practice was first developed to support people in recovery (from addictions) and living with chronic illness, pain, and/or anxiety.

Here is a guided audio (MP3) Intro to Attuned Breath Centering.

      Non-Violent Communication
a method developed by Marshall Rosenberg, Ph.D. as a "language of life," which focusses on identifying needs or core human values and how to meet these needs in relationship. Please click here for more information.

      Voice Dialogue
a psychological method developed by Drs. Sal and Hidra Stone to experience oneself as an immeasurable number of distinct voices or parts. This approach focusses on attuning to these voices and learning how to transform those, which seem to be obstacles to well being. For instance, transforming an "inner critic" into an "inner coach." Please click here for more information.

Mindfulness Meditation

Simple and life-changing techniques of paying attention nonjudgementally, which can relieve stress, investigate and transform pain, increase awareness, and foster self-discovery.

Healing Play

Play is something kids of all ages can tap into to free ourselves from worry and hesitation. Play as an expression of healing or wholeness reveals your natural creative impulse and aliveness. Here are some of the services to help you heal through play:

      Restorative Creative Expression
Immediate intervention and guidance to help you with specific issues using customized meditation, music/songs, imagery, and storytelling. Express yourself non-verbally as a way to move through rather than escape challenges. Experience your body intimately to reveal and express what is most important to you right now.

Whole Body Nutrition with Living Foods
Learn how to play in the kitchen and transform your body from the inside out with living foods. Learn how to tap into the vibrant energy of raw fruits and vegetables as well as sprouted grains, seeds, and nuts. These foods and the process of enjoying them will help you to re-energize and re-connect with what it means to be living sustainably and peacefully on Planet Earth.

      Self-Care Rituals
Learn how to create or revitalize daily rituals, even brushing your teeth, as a way to experience wonderment and joy even in the midst of difficulty. Learn how to allocate space and time in your daily life for what nourishes you.

These services do not replace medical treatment, such as drug therapy under supervision of a licensed physician.
